iPad

I finally broke down and bought one. I got the credit card out and ordered a iPad. I bought it for several reasons, for Paige, for myself, for work and I am sure that if I thought about it long enough, I could give you about 100 other reasons why I bought it.

I love this thing, love it. I am currently writing this post on it thanks to the wonderful wordpress app

I have downloaded a few apps for Paige so far and we are slowly learning how to use it. She gets very upset with me when I take it away from her, hopefully this will pass!

I am working a list of apps that I like so far for her and for me. If you have a favorite app please comment and let me know.

I have to say that I really do love this thing and can not wait to write more about it soon.

I know its been a while…

First I would like to say that I apologize for the lack of blogging lately. ¬†Things have been crazy around here, but in a good way. ¬†We are moving! ¬†We are packing up our place in Surrey and we are off to Kamloops, Canada’s tournament Capital.

There were a few reasons for the move, but the main one is of course Paige.  Living in the lower mainland, especially in Surrey can be challenging when it comes to getting services in a timely manner.  While we are off the waitlist for physio and have a amazing therapist, we are still waiting and receiving limited services for speech and OT.  I love living down here, but to live somewhere that is going to be better for Paige and possibly even on my wallet, I am all for moving.  No matter how stressful it may be.

Paige hiding under the chair

This is what happens around here most days.  Paige going under the chair, chasing the cat and making a mess with all her toys.  The life of a toddler, to drive your mother crazy!

We got a iPad and I am hoping to be posting about it and what apps Paige likes!

Until next time!

Finally something….

Everytime I look at this picture I see a little girl growing up.  I love it.

Sometimes I wonder where the time goes.  One day I am trying to find my way in this journey called motherhood and find a balance and the next day I am thinking about all the things that I am teaching Paige.  How to eat her food like a lady, how to walk, how to talk, how not to pinch the cat(LOL), how to brush her teeth, how to shop and I am sure once she is walking in full force, how to us the potty.  The potty I am already starting on.  She has said poop a few times after she has done it to let me know.  I never knew that I would get so excited about hearing my daughter say the word poop, but I am. It is little progress and I am so excited about it.

I know that I have not been blogging much lately and I am going to start to change it.  I have been so consumed with this appointment and that one and work and everything else that is going on right now, I kind of forgot about it.  I have decided to hold myself accountable and blog every Sunday night, whether it be about Paige or what I am going through, I plan to write about something that means something to me.

These two are so in love with each other. ¬†Paige has taken it upon herself to feed the cat some of everything she is eating. ¬†Good times ūüôā
